How do you uninstall msn messenger when it's not on the uninstall program options on the control panel?

I've gone onto control panel to remove it however its not an option. It's doing my head in because it automatically logs into msn when i start up my computer, and when i put my status to appear offline about 30 minutes later it says i'm online! When I log out there is no option for me to tick a box to say appear offline. I don't know what to do - help!!!How do you uninstall msn messenger when it's not on the uninstall program options on the control panel?
Simple really.

Control; panel%26gt;addd\remove programs%26gt;add\remove windows components%26gt;windows messenger

Don't delete the program folders it will leave all kinds of ';orphaned files '; in the registry.....How do you uninstall msn messenger when it's not on the uninstall program options on the control panel?
You can stop the auto sign in by going to tools in MSN then go to options then signing on the tab bar then make sure the auto sign when i log onto windows is un-ticked, but if you want to completely get rid of MSN and you've taken it out of the program list in control panel you can go to my computer%26gt;Local Disk%26gt;Program Files find MSN and delete the folder, then it should completely go from your pc:)
I suppose the best thing to do is go to your program files folder and delete the folder it's in. BTW make sure it's not running, exit out before doing this. About it acting funky, maybe download a new version after deleting your current one. Hope that helps :D
Deleting its folders doesn't mean u have uninstalled it completely.

Its registry values r not so easy to remove.

U can try Perfect Uninstaller. It can completely remove any program.

U will find there r many programs that u can't see on ur control panel:P
To stop it opening when you switch on your computer just follow these few simple steps: Start / Run / Type in msconfig / Click OK / Click Start up. Here you will see it listed, just un tick the box where it says msn msgr and you should be OK
Hmmm I'd suggest Deleting the folder and then reinstalling the application again to ensure that your MSN Messenger is fully functional and ready to use again~
my computer [] local disk [] program files [] delete the folder
