How difficult is it to replace a thermostat and oxygen control sensor on 2002 Chevy Blazer?

Both of them are pretty easy. When you open up thermostat housing, some coolant would spill out.

For O2 sensor, the hardest part is working with limited space. The part is very well heated and should be rusted as well. The Worst thing you can do is strip the holding nut, and have to use vise grip to take out. For most part, if you've used plenty of WD40, and proper tool, it should just pop out with a long breaker bar. Also it is important to know that there are several different type of O2 sensor socket. Getting the right type would make your job easier. How difficult is it to replace a thermostat and oxygen control sensor on 2002 Chevy Blazer?
the oxygen sensor is on the exhaust before or after the catalytic converter. you need to see if you have one or two sensors, the thermostat is right on top by your radiator hose on the engine.they are both easy to replace make sure you have some WD40 and some anti-seize when you put the sensor back in. the first guy is talking about the Intake Air Temp. sensorHow difficult is it to replace a thermostat and oxygen control sensor on 2002 Chevy Blazer?
The o2 is on the mass airflow. Disconnect the wiring from the clip, 1/4 to 1/2 turn pop out and replace. Thermostat just as easy. Drain coolant from radiator using the drain hose attached. Unclamp the hose flowing to the engine through the thermostat. Undo the 2 nuts, remove the cap, install the new then re-assemble.
