Is it normal to bleed a lot during birth control when your suppose to not have your period?

This is my first month on it and for the past 3 or 4 days now, I've been bleeding a lot. Like it may not be a lot to some girls but my regular period only lasts about 2 days and i barely bleed and now, i still have a week to go on my packet thing and i'm already bleeding...it seems too much to be spotting. omg help.Is it normal to bleed a lot during birth control when your suppose to not have your period?
yes this is very normal. i started loestrine 24 about 4 months ago and it made me get my period 2 times a month! i went to the emergency room and they said everything was ok and it was just the pill, so that is probably the case with you. give it a couple of months and if it doesn't stop get your doctor to change your birth control brand. feel better!Is it normal to bleed a lot during birth control when your suppose to not have your period?

Have you taken them regularly EVERYDAY...you can't miss pills...except for like once and you have to take it immediately...Otherwise, it can cause abnormal bleeding...
