This is the one for 5 years and I haven't got a period for 2 years. As a birth control I use the IUD Mirena, I first got it 2 yr ago, Is it bad for my health not to get a period?
your doctor should have explained this to you before you got the mirena... or he should have given you a pamphlet about it.

look under the heading, ';your periods may change';As a birth control I use the IUD Mirena, I first got it 2 yr ago, Is it bad for my health not to get a period?
yes of course!!!! pumping drugs into your body to stop a natural cycle. what is natural or healthy about THAT?
We are meant to get periods so i think it coudn't be to healthy not to get them. Every now and then it should be alright to skip but not having a period for 2 years doesn't sound to good

Is it normal to have a continuous period on the first month of birth control?
I'm taking birth control (Kelnor) for the first time. I started when my period started. My period has lasted 10 days so far. Is this normal? The bleeding is continuous. It's not really breakout bleeding. Will I have a continuous period during my first month of birth control. Has this happened to anyone? Is it normal to have a continuous period on the first month of birth control?
I took Kelnor. The bleeding is probably just a normal side-effect because your body is getting used to the hormone differences. If you continue to bleed, I would visit your gyno. You should NOT have a continuous period during your first month. If you do, definitely call your doctor for advice. Is it normal to have a continuous period on the first month of birth control?
Im on the shot an what happens with mine is you have irregular periods for about a 3 months and then you dont have periods..
yes i think its normal kuz it is messing with your horomones but its always best to ask a docnatural cosmetics

Is it normal to skip a period on Low Ogestrel birth control?
i have been on low ogestrel for about 3-4 months now. my period came around the 1st of last month. it's now the 15th and it still has not come. i took a pregnancy test and it came back negative-is it normal to skip a period on these birth control pills? i'm a bit worried. Is it normal to skip a period on Low Ogestrel birth control?
yes its normalIs it normal to skip a period on Low Ogestrel birth control?
On any hormonal birth control, skipping a period can be normal. You've been on the pill long enough it's really taking effect and balancing your hormones and doing all the things it will do. You should get a period when you finish your pack of pills this time, and it will likely be lighter than you expect (especially for skipping this month). However, if you skip next month, you should call your doctor and let them know you've skipped two periods and ask what they think you should do.
It is fairly normal. If you are under 18, it is even more normal. When did you take the pregnancy test? If you took one close to the time when you should have started, consider taking another one in case you had a false negative. If you just took it, wait until you skip another period, and if you do skip another one, do to the doctor and get a blood test.
yeah i've skipped periods before while on loestrin. it takes months for your body to adjust to the change of hormones.

Is it true that you can control your dreams?
Some say that if you know you're dreaming you can control what happens in your dream...Is it true?Is it true that you can control your dreams?
No ,u cant because you are sleep .Is it true that you can control your dreams?
OMG YES!
it's fcuking awesome too!
ill know im dreaming and like if im about to be killed or something, i can just close my eyes and imagine im in a new place. its extremely difficult to understand, but it happens to me everytime i think im dreaming and i am.
and then ill go to that exact place, i dont know what it is but it's soo cool!
its rare that i wake up though, i control them by just picturing different scenes in my head, or i imagine the enemy saying or doing something different and they do it. i dont always know when im dreaming but when i do it always happens. it can be any dream. ive never really experienced repeats in dreams, except maybe once or twice but it was a deja vu feeling.

Controlling in some way, for example, many times we know we are dreaming, but subconsciously we may be suppressing that feeling so in dream, we will still let our will go as in subconsciously and dream about things we want.
I can if it's a dream I've been having for years - and there are three of them - I can say to myself in my dream, ';Okay when I got to this point and did this thing something bad happened so I'll try this other thing this time.'; It's kind of fun.
If i know that im dreaming and i'm having a nightmare i try to wake myself up and it works sometimes. if it doesn't then i just repeat to myself ...this is just a dream...this is just a dream....lol
i have done it a cpl of times so yes, i would say it's true

IS it safe for me to use a straightening perm to control the friz and volume?
Please note that I am a latina with wavy hair and that it is already dry and a little bit hard with only a little bit of kinkness. It is a little Kinky but I am not sure if using a stng perm that is sold for creole hair (Kinky, Afro)will work for me or if it will damage it worst. I still need to get it relaxed a bit and a little straigter to use loose but I don't want to spend too much.IS it safe for me to use a straightening perm to control the friz and volume?
This is called ';texturizing';. You can buy a mild relaxer then apply it to all your hair BUT only keep it on for 3-5 minutes. Then completely rinse it out.
This method should help cut back on your frizz and leave it with slightly less wave than you have naturally.
The drawback is it may be a little less soft than what it is now. So you may have to choose between keeping it the way it is now (frizzy, but somewhat soft) or less frizzy, but a little more coarse from the relaxer.
One thing to keep in mind: It's not a good idea to do this if your hair has already been chemically treated recently (color, perm or relaxer). Good luck!
Added: There is one other thing you might want to try first ... Wash your hair no less than 2-3 times a week and use CONDITIONER as if it were shampoo. It will exfoliate your scalp (so it does clean it!) without the harsh detergent of shampoo, which actually dries it out and adds frizziness. Then you condition your hair as normal.
The results of this method are amazing. Within 2 weeks most curly-heads will end up with soft ringlets and waves, and wavies end up with softer, well-defined waves. And both types end up with greatly reduced frizz. I do this myself and it works amazingly well.IS it safe for me to use a straightening perm to control the friz and volume?
It is safe to perm it for the kinkiness but im not sure that it would do much for the frizz! you might want to go to like sally's beauty supply and ask whats best for frizz .
I think straintening perms (relaxers) came be damaging to anyone's hair, especially if your is already dry and brittle. I don't use relaxers on my hair anymore. If your hair is wavy, you really don't need a relaxer. Try different shampoos and blow dry it straight with a round metal brush. There's lots of different products you can use. I wouldn't recommend using a perm
As long as the straighter is a ceramic your fine!

Has anyone been through Air Traffic Control training? What is it like?
I mainly want to know if they provide you with housing or will I need to find a place to stay. I will be at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center in Oklahoma City and I want to start preparing for the move.Has anyone been through Air Traffic Control training? What is it like?
You find your own and they give you per diem to cover. Schedule it the day of or the day after you get your class date or you'll probably be spending a few weeks in a motel.

They'll mail you the same info. Has anyone been through Air Traffic Control training? What is it like?
Is the per diem in addition to the 19,000 per annum as a trainee that they gaurantee?

I'm thinking of getting Mirena as a form of birth control. Has anyone ever tried it and how is it?
I'm having my second baby and want to be on birth control after I have the baby. I'm not fond of pills, shots, or patches. Saw a commercial about Mirena and thinking about getting it, but I need some more information about it from those who have tried it. Please help! Give me pros and cons :) thanks!I'm thinking of getting Mirena as a form of birth control. Has anyone ever tried it and how is it?
Well the good news is that I haven't gotten cramps with the Mirena, and my periods stopped after a month. The bad news is that I gained 40+ pounds within just a few months, despite the fact that I eat really healthy (no red meat, lots of plant matter, whole grains and fiber). I also hit the gym really hard 3-4 days a week. I run, lift weights, bike, etc, and I haven't lost a single pound. My OB swore up and down that the Mirena wasn't the cause, however, I have seen hundreds of posts on different boards from women with my exact story. ONce they got Mirena out, their weight came off. That is just my personal experience with it.I'm thinking of getting Mirena as a form of birth control. Has anyone ever tried it and how is it?
I've never used it, but I know many women that have. I believe that it's statistically the most effective form of birth control - even more effective than tubal ligation. I'll have to do some reading to make sure my stats are right, but last time I checked, that was the case.

Good luck!
i currently have the mirena in place, have had it for nearly a year now but am considering having it removed, reason for this is it has made my cycle very erratic, i will get a very heavy flow for first 5days, then goes away for two days, then back again for 3days then it has light bleeding for another 2 weeks so 3 weeks all up,very annoying.on the other hand tho for some people after having it in place for 3months there period completely stops, guess i was the unluky one lol.the plus side to having it in is once it's placed thats it for 5years,no worrying about getting pregnant.i have heard from others it can be very sore while it is being inserted tho, luky for me i had mine inserted in a hospital so was totally out to it .its definately something you should talk to your doctor or midwife about tho they will both be able to give you more info
Hey... I don't know a great deal about it but if you check out this website i am sure some of your Q's will be answered :)

I have had the Mirena IUD in place for about a year and a half after having my 2nd child. It lasts for 5 years. She placed it and it didn't even hurt although I have been told by friends that theirs hurt a little bit, but only for a few seconds as it was going in. I had a regular period for about 3 months after that, then, WHAM! NO PERIOD!!! It's great! I don't have to worry about when I'm going to start or buying all those pads or tampons. The only downside I have with mine is I get terrible cramps because they say it can cause Ovarian Cysts (which should shrink after you have the IUD removed). Now, I don't know if I have them, but my guess would be that I do because I never had cramps like this before. But everyone I've ever asked say that they don't have their period and they have no signs or symptoms and it's great! Another thing you don't have to worry about is getting pregnant. No condoms, no pills to take every day, no patch to put on every week, no worries about 'accidents'. I LOVE mine!
My wife recently got one installed and this is what she has to say: I have had erratic bleeding for the 1st 2months period pains are worse and when i finally get my period it lasts for at least two weeks way longer than usual, but over all the bleeding is lighter than normal, it can make you feel quiet emotional at times with the hormone release it has, but in a few months that should have sorted it self out hopefully.

If you control the world's food, how easy is it to control the world's population?
Have you heard of Codex alimentarius? If you haven't it goes in to effect in December. I suggest you look into it.If you control the world's food, how easy is it to control the world's population?
Why would you want to do that?If you control the world's food, how easy is it to control the world's population?
It depends on the people and the location. The Soviet Union successfully starved to death millions of people in the Ukraine by taking away the food they grew on their own land.
But try that in the US and you'll be in a war that has no end against a people that will be well armed and survive on dirt if they have to.
Whether food is available or not, many people breed for cultural and economic reasons. Try and restrict food and you just increase famine and suffering.
People need food to survive so. ... I would say fairly easy. Controlling the food would be the hard part though. I'm sure Obama can handle it!

My anxiety can get really bad, how can I control it?
Hi
I am going to uni today (Moving out of home) I am not going far only a couple of hrs away but I do get homesick easily, and anxious, my anxiety sometimes becomes very powerful and tells me that something could happen to my family and I won't be able to get in contact with them while I am away.
How can I stop this feeling so extreme and help put it in perspective when I am away at uni.
thanks xxMy anxiety can get really bad, how can I control it?
there is no way to fight it off.
just communicate with them a lot initially,
and you will get used to itMy anxiety can get really bad, how can I control it?
It kind of sounds like you don't have normal anxiety, but possibly you could have OCD. Sometimes people with OCD have something called ';magical thinking';
They might worry that, for example, that, if they leave the house, it will catch on fire even though they know everything is off. Or if they touch the doorknob with the wrong hand, something bad will happen to someone they love.
Of course they know this isn't really the case but the anxiety generated by this is often so overwhelming that they give into it.
The proper treatment for OCD is cognitive behavioral therapy, often combined with medication of the SSRI class, like Prozac, or Zoloft, or of the tricyclic class like Tofranil or Anafranil.
Now I'm going to tell you something that I've told many people with OCD.
If you leave the house, yes, it could somehow catch on fire and burn down. If you touch the doorknob with the wrong hand, yes, someone you love could get hurt....purely by chance alone and not actually because you left the house or touched the doorknob with the wrong hand.
The point is,sometimes the things we fear will happen happen. That is the reality of life, unfortunately. If it's going to happen it's going to happen and usually has nothing to do with anything you did. You just need to accept that bad things happen sometimes and realize it usually isn't because of you.
make friends --get involved with voluntary work ---hypnotherapy maybe
If you arent completely against it, you should take up smoking. Its helped control my anxiety big time
The same thing happened to me when I lived far away from my family. Every time you feel really anxious and miss them just call them. That's what I did. I'd call my mom like twice a day just to make sure everything was ok at home. After a while you'll start to feel better when you realize they're fine.natural cosmetics

How long did it take your period to regulate itself once you got off birth control?
I was on Ortho Tri-cyclen for 10 years. I stopped taking it in May. June I had a period exactly like I would've if I had stayed on the pill, 28 day cycle. July's period came 2 weeks late. In your experience, how long did it take for you to get regulated again? How long did it take your period to regulate itself once you got off birth control?
It took me 58 days to have my first period, but they were regular at 29 days after that. How long did it take your period to regulate itself once you got off birth control?

Is it true that taking birth control for your acne will?
is it true that taking birth control for your acne will stop you from having babies when your older ?
and does birth control work and reduce acne ?Is it true that taking birth control for your acne will?
It will help prevent pregnancies while taking it, but after you go off of it, unless something else is wrong with your body you will be able to become pregnant. Remember though, birth control is not full proof, a person can still get pregnant while taking it.
Yes, it does reduce acne for most people. Is it true that taking birth control for your acne will?
If you are taking the birth control pill, it will not effect future children.
It works if you take it like you are supposed to, and your doctor should explain it to you. You HAVE to take it at the same time everyday.
Some pills help with acne too.
no it will only stop you from getting pregnant while you are taking it,it wont be effective after you discontinue using.
Yes,it does work for clearing your skin, well atleast on my skin but since i've stop taking it my skin is starting to go back to breaking out.But hope i've helped.
Birth control works if taken properly, and no it won't affect your future fertility. As soon as you come off of the pill your body begins to prepare itself for pregnancy just as it was before you took the pill. I do find that it has helped clear my skin.

Is it safe for a 36 year old to use birth control pills?
Or are those better used by those in their teens or 20's? I do not smoke.
If not, what birth control would you suggest for a married, monogamous woman? Is it safe for a 36 year old to use birth control pills?
It's safe. They only say that after 35, if you smoke, your chances of cancer go up.
But you don't smoke, so don't sweat it.
I suggest taking them and if you aren't comfy with them, go talk to your doctor.
Good luck :)Is it safe for a 36 year old to use birth control pills?
i think i would avoid it if it was me.it is prb up to the person how they feel about it.there is the diafram, iud,i used encare ovals suppositories.but there is a 10 min waiting time for them to melt before sex.might ask you doctor or heath unit for some good tips.
it's safe, but after age 35 the risks associated with smoking and being on the pill are greatly increased.
Compare it to the patch
I think both are relatively safe as long as you do not smoke or have other health problems
Of course! I would suggest asking your doctor what BC would work better for you. Everyone is different so this might vary. Personally, the Nuvaring works best for me. It is a vaginial insert (totally comfortable-you or your husband will never know it's there) contraceptive. It is on time release; this ensures a more even distribution of hormones, and you don't have to remember to take a pill every day!

No.
Don't take artificial hormones if you don't need them. You'll end up messing up your body and your hormones; they can actually mask problems that will result in things like early menopause, infertility, etc.

yes of course!!!! pumping drugs into your body to stop a natural cycle. what is natural or healthy about THAT?As a birth control I use the IUD Mirena, I first got it 2 yr ago, Is it bad for my health not to get a period?
your doctor should have explained this to you before you got the mirena... or he should have given you a pamphlet about it.
read this: http://www.mirena-us.com/what_expect/ind鈥?/a>
look under the heading, ';your periods may change';
We are meant to get periods so i think it coudn't be to healthy not to get them. Every now and then it should be alright to skip but not having a period for 2 years doesn't sound to good

Is it OK to take half a birth control pill?
the birth control im taking is called yasmin.. i took a pill yesterday night but it made me so sick this morning.. i threw up 5 times.. my mom thinks i should take half a pill for a week so my body can get used to the hormones.. will taking half a pill left with the nausea? and is it safe?Is it OK to take half a birth control pill?
By taking 1/2 of the pill, it will help your body get adjusted to the medicine. However, it will not keep you protected since you are only taking half the dose. Normally, after 2 weeks on the pill taking a whole tablet you would be protected. To be on the safe side, I would call the pharmacy and make sure this is ok. Also, some tablets after they are broken, you need to throw the unused portion away. Just double check.

I need suggestions for birth control. I am on Alesse and it makes me moody and prude, any suggestions?
I am thinking of ditching the pill all together but I just want to know what yall think.I need suggestions for birth control. I am on Alesse and it makes me moody and prude, any suggestions?
You might just need to switch to a lower dose pill. I use marvelon and it's really good. Everyone's different though, so try a couple and if they don't work for you look for another option of contraceptives.I need suggestions for birth control. Try demulen I love it... I have ben on EVERY pill for cysts and endometriosis and this is the only pill I have not had a problem with!
You should really talk to your Dr. about what birth control option is suited for you. I was on the Depo shot and it made the moodiest and emotionally unstable person ever! I dropped it and went to Orth-Tri Cyclen and it has worked for me for the past 3 years but just recently it has been making me miserable and lazy! I talked to my Dr and I am now on YAZ! It is wonderful. More energy for EVERYTHING!! More pleasant moods. But that is my body and hormones, you should really talk to your Dr and see what options they can offer you. There is lots of different methods out and you just gotta find the one that's right for you. Hope this helps.
i would def stick with the pill.In my case it had less side effects then the patch and the shot.Try orthotricyclen lo
The Depovera shot would probably help you out. I'm taking it, and I don't have any mood changes. You only need the shot every 3 months and you don't have to worry about missing a day with the pills.
I've been on Alesse for the past 3 years and haven't had a problem. Why don't you ask your OB if you could try something else.
I've tried Nuva Ring and that was ok. I just stopped using it cuz it was gross having to insert it. Atleast you don't have to insert it every day though lol. I like Yaz.

Is it possible to ovulate while on birth control?
i have missed a few and changed the time i take them at.
i would not mind to be pregnant considering if i was ovulating i did have sex during that time without protection....
my other question is do you think i could be pregnant?
i have not gotten my period yet and i have alot of discharge and slight pinching in my abdomen!
thanks! Is it possible to ovulate while on birth control?
you would know if you ovulated becaue you would of had a discharge that resembled raw egg whites, and it is very 'gooey' I was on BC for 8 years and never once ovulated. Thats not saying it could not happen but bc is made to trick your body into thinking it is preg so you do not ovulate and release an egg. You prob are just not having a period, relax it will come. If you are past your due date to have your period take a test in the morning with the first urine it has the highest concentration of hcg the hormone that you produce when preg.
**Keep in mind, missing the pill can cause you to miss your period, your body is used to a 28 day cycle and when that gets messed up it can throw everything off**
GOOD LUCKIs it possible to ovulate while on birth control?
It is quite possible, especially since you missed a few. But you have to take into consideration, what are the chances that you were fertile/ovulating when you had sex without protection? Unless you took a test to determine if you were or were not ovulating at the time you had sex, you'll never know until a few weeks later from a pregnancy test.
Take a pregnancy test so you'll know. Best of luck!
oral contraceptives are 99.9% effective. if 100 women took them
for one year (12 cycles), there would be one pregnancy. you
could be the one. take an OTC pregnancy test if you want to know
for sure.

What makes a good quality control inspector? I've just started the position, and it's a manufactoring job.
Just started position for manufactoring company. Wanted to know, how do i impress my new employers, and stay busy! What makes a good quality control inspector? I've just started the position, and it's a manufactoring job.
As a former materials manager and purchasing manager who has had my share of interactions with QC I would suggest quickly learning the products and processes. this will allow you to determine the critical tolerances and processes and watch them closely.
Ask questions listen to the people who really do the work, and most of all don't act like an authority on everything (its a trap many QC types fall into)
I assume you are using some type of statistical control, make sure its on the up and up. Face time, openness and integrity are probably the most important factors early on.
Good luck and remember you can not inspect quality into a product you can only achieve quality by improving the process and you are an intergral part of that loopWhat makes a good quality control inspector? I've just started the position, and it's a manufactoring job.
I agree with the first guy. But adding another thing that will be over the top. Show people what is wrong. Help them understand why it is wrong and correct the system. It is a lot easier just to reject the bad parts. But the real important part of inspection is finding the problem and correcting it which solve the problem later.

TTC #2, how long did it take you to concieve after birth control?
I got my Mirena out January 12th and we're still not preggers. I understand it can take up to a year, but it's hard to stay patient.TTC #2, how long did it take you to concieve after birth control?
I went on the depo after my first and was on that until he was 1. Then we were just careful with the pull out method. Once we decided to try it took us the first month but that was when he was 2. I would say it took us a year, a little longer.

What control does the ps3 come with when you buy it?
I'm buying a PS3, along with a game that won't play with a wireless control. What control does the ps3 come with when you buy it?
it comes with a sixaxis controller. At least mine did. But the controller is wireless, and I believe that all games can use the wireless controller, but not all games use the sixaxis feature. Good luck. What control does the ps3 come with when you buy it?
The current 40 and 80GB models come with a wireless SIXAXIS controller with no rumble feature. The MGS4 bundle comes with a Dualshock3 SIXAXIS controller, which has both motion sensing control and rumble feature. The upcomming 80GB and 160GB models will ship with the Dualshock3 SIXAXIS as a standard.

Is it possible to get pregnant the day your period ends and your on birth control?
My boyfriend came inside me the day my period ended and im on birth control but im paranoid because this has never happened. Is it possible i am pregnant? Is it possible to get pregnant the day your period ends and your on birth control?
if you take your bc regularly, almost impossibleIs it possible to get pregnant the day your period ends and your on birth control?
Highly unlikely. You wouldn't normally be fertile at this time even off birth control and if you've been taking it correctly you should be absolutely fine. I mean that is the point of birth control right?
Well anything is possible honey but chances are slimmer during this time frame. Relax. Probably not but you can't be sure yet and stressing over it won't help. I doubt it but...it's not impossible. Good luck to you... :)
Female eggs can only survive about 3 days in the uterus without being feritlized. Sperm can only survive 24 hours in the female tract. The female ovulates around day 15. Doing the math, is it highly unlikely that a female can ever get pergnant if the sex is before day 14 or after about day 17. Anomalies do occur, but if you want to continue having unprotected sex, the best time to do so would be on day one of your cycle

Birth control and Antibiotics at the same time, does it result in automatic pregnancy?
OK so my girlfriend was on birth control for a month and later she was taking some medication. we had sex and i pulled out before too late, so i believe nothing got in there. she missed her period for a week now. does this mean she is pregnant?
She always continued to take the pill, she did not stop even while taking antibiotics, but do antibiotics mess up her periodic cycle or is she pregnant?Birth control and Antibiotics at the same time, does it result in automatic pregnancy?
She very well may be pregnant. Even with pulling out, there's still pre ejaculation. Taking antibiotics while on BCP's doesn't automatically mean she's pregnant though. The antibiotics will decrease the effectiveness of the pill though. So, she could be pregnant, or she might be stressing too much. Have her take a pregnancy test to be sure.
Also, birth control pills are only 99% effective. Meaning 1 woman out of every 100 taking BCP's gets pregnant a year. So nothing is 100% safe.Birth control and Antibiotics at the same time, does it result in automatic pregnancy?
Antibiotics WILL cause the birth control pill to be less effective. It does not mean that she is pregnant. It also takes time for the pill to become fully effective, so you are playing Russian roulette by not using an alternate form of birth control for at least 4 to 6 weeks after she started the pill.
Antibiotics can interfere with the effectiveness of the pill, which can result in an unintended pregnancy (or can just interfere with the normal menstrual cycle). If your girlfriend is a week late, she can take a pregnancy test to determine if she is pregnant.
Antibiotics can interfere with the effectiveness of birth control. Pulling out does not completely take away the chance of pregnancy, since a woman can also be impregnated from precum. She should take a home pregnancy test.
first of all pulling out does not work. at all. Antibiotics can interfere with the pill but she should have been told this when she was prescribed them. She could be pregnant so she should take a test and take more care in the future.
birth control and antibiotics dont go well together. The antibiotics lowers the chance of the pill actually working.natural cosmetics

You can stop the auto sign in by going to tools in MSN then go to options then signing on the tab bar then make sure the auto sign when i log onto windows is un-ticked, but if you want to completely get rid of MSN and you've taken it out of the program list in control panel you can go to my computer%26gt;Local Disk%26gt;Program Files find MSN and delete the folder, then it should completely go from your pc:)
I suppose the best thing to do is go to your program files folder and delete the folder it's in. BTW make sure it's not running, exit out before doing this. About it acting funky, maybe download a new version after deleting your current one. Hope that helps :D
Deleting its folders doesn't mean u have uninstalled it completely.
Its registry values r not so easy to remove.
U can try Perfect Uninstaller. It can completely remove any program.
U will find there r many programs that u can't see on ur control panel:P
To stop it opening when you switch on your computer just follow these few simple steps: Start / Run / Type in msconfig / Click OK / Click Start up. Here you will see it listed, just un tick the box where it says msn msgr and you should be OK
Hmmm I'd suggest Deleting the folder and then reinstalling the application again to ensure that your MSN Messenger is fully functional and ready to use again~

What do you do to stay positive when you are under attack by powerful forces and it's beyond your control?
Be like Peter walking on the water.Keep on your eyes on Jesus.Try to not look away.God created the universe with a word.So what problem couldn't handle.Made not in our time or way.But he can turn all things to good. What do you do to stay positive when you are under attack by powerful forces and it's beyond your control?

Can you have a healthy baby while haveing high blood pressure and takeing medication to control it?
Of course(at least I sure hope so, I'm pregnant w/high bp)! Just keep taking your meds under the doctors care and the baby should be fine! just drink lots of water, start excercising just a little, and try to relax! Good luck! Can you have a healthy baby while haveing high blood pressure and takeing medication to control it?
Yes, you can. You will have to go to the doctor a little more often than normal pregnant mothers but yes.Can you have a healthy baby while haveing high blood pressure and takeing medication to control it?
What you would do is, when you go to the doctor they will check your blood pressure again, and then they may give you a different pill to use or you can use the same pill. But other than that nothing will harm your baby. Good Luck!

When the iPhone OS 3.0 comes out will it include the Compass and Voice control like the iPhone 3G S?
The iPhone OS 3.0 comes out tomorrow and im just wandering...if the OS 3.0 will give other iPhones the Compass and Voice control? When the iPhone OS 3.0 comes out will it include the Compass and Voice control like the iPhone 3G S?
No.
Only the iPhone 3G S will have Compass and Voice Control.
There is a built in magnet in the new iPhone 3G S, that is not in previous models, therefore making it impossible to use the Compass app.
It would also be difficult to make a Voice Control app for previous iPhone models due to voice detection accuracy. When the iPhone OS 3.0 comes out will it include the Compass and Voice control like the iPhone 3G S?
The 3.0 will have Voice Memos, but I am not sure if that includes Voice Control. It will for sure be on the 3G S.
My brother works for AT%26amp;T and he doesn't know himself,
I personally wanted to know because I want the old iPhone, and then get the update.
But I'm not sure if the update is going to include it, I hope so though!
no. i think thats only for the iphone 3gs unfortunately.. but whateverr. i love my iphone :)

Is it true that someone can become infertile after being on the birth control pill?
Well a lot of people say that you can become infertile when you have been on the pill, some even for 6 months. Can you guys tell me about your experiences or experiences of people you know?Is it true that someone can become infertile after being on the birth control pill?
It's not considered 'infertile' but birth control can appear to stay in your system even after going off of it.
Some women take a day, some take a year before they can become pregnant again.
It's different for everyone. It depends on how quickly your cycles/ovulation return to normal. Just be sure to keep track of your ovulation and time sex accordingly.
You want to be sure you have sex prior to ovulation, as well as the day of. The 3 days before ovulation are your most fertile days and you are at your peak fertility the day before and the day of ovulation.
You can have a gyn exam to make sure the fallopian tubes are free of fibrous build up.Is it true that someone can become infertile after being on the birth control pill?
No, oral birth control should not effect fertility at all. I was on birth control for almost 9 years straight (I was on the depo shot for the first three months, but switched to oral birth control because I didn't like the side effects of the shot) and got pregnant literally the very first month after coming off the pill.
Everyone body is different I was on Depo first then switched to the pill and I stop taking my pills in December 2008 I became pregnant in March 1,2009. So I mean what 3 month different and I have friends that stop there pills and became pregnant immediately. So it honestly depends on your body.
My aunt took birth control for only a couple of years and she had a hard time getting pregnant at first, but now she has three beautiful babies, I think it just takes longer for your egg to release after so long of not being released.
I have heard of that but I don't know how accurate it is

Is it okay to take the birth control pill later than told to?
Let me give it to you in numbers: My period started June 27th and ended July 3... My appointment was July 11th I took the pill Sunday July 15th... I was told by my doctor to start my very first pill on Sunday. But I did not know if she meant the Sunday that was coming up or the Sunday that everything I have been reading tells me to (the Sunday after my period starts) (This would have meant waiting till the next month). So since I started the pill the Sunday that was coming up, am I in trouble? Someone told me it was okay because my body would get adjusted to this. What do I do if it is not okay?Is it okay to take the birth control pill later than told to?
That's fine.
There are two reasons to start on the first Sunday after the start of your period. The first is to make sure that you aren't pregnant, and the second is so that your next period would be when you would have expected your next one anyway.
If you know that you aren't pregnant, and don't care that your next period won't be until you get to the sugar pills of the pill, then you can start any time you like.Is it okay to take the birth control pill later than told to?
talk to your doctor and make sure of what she said..
You can start taking the pill whenever you please... just note that it takes a full seven days for it to kick in. If you want to be protected immediately after you take the pill, they recommend that you start on the first Sunday after your period. If you started a week or more after your period, you may not be fully protected. Use a back up method, such as a condom until you've been on the pill for a full 7 days! Hope this helps :)
Just start the pill whenever. There is no point to trying to synchronize your period and the fact is the sooner you start it the sooner you'll be protected against unwanted pregnancy (but NOT diseases!!!).
You will not be harmed by starting it too soon. A lot of time, energy, myth, and worry is generated by this question. Just go ahead and start it on any day you want, take it at the same time every day, and you'll do fine.

Could I be pregnant? On birth control though, so is it just the birth control?
I'm on birth control, and I'm on that week where you are suppose to have your period, well, there isn't much of a period yet, just some spotting. I'm kinda worried i'm pregnant, but could it also just be the birth control being weird?Could I be pregnant? On birth control though, so is it just the birth control?
Could be the pill. I never missed one and still got pregnant on the pill- TWICE! Make sure you're on the right dosage if you keep having problems and definitely aren't pregnant.Could I be pregnant? On birth control though, so is it just the birth control?
Yes. The hormonal control of birth control is super unstable, so your menstruation is going to vary a lot. If you were preggo, you wouldn't be getting your period at all.
It could be the birth control it always messed my periods up and sometime I never even got one

Is it easier or harder to conceive if you have never been on any birth control?
I have not been on the pill since i was 17. I am now 27 and my partner and i are trying for a baby. (until now i have always been careful, never had a pregnancy scare). I get my egg white cervical mucus every month so have sex every 2 days over that week. Should it be easier harder or the same chances of getting pregnant when you have never been on the pill?Is it easier or harder to conceive if you have never been on any birth control?
Hormonal birth control can screw up your cycles. But, it's been 10 years, I can't imagine you would have any residual effects from it.
Good luck!Is it easier or harder to conceive if you have never been on any birth control?
I am on the understanding that it does matter if you have been on the pill or not. The chemicals in your pills can stay in the system for up to a year once you stop taking them. It all depends though as I have conceived while on the pill and using condoms. It probably sounds cliche but don't stress it as it always happens when you least expect it....
it should be the same...the pill doesn't affect your chances of getting pregnant in the future.

How long did it take you to get your period after taking birth control?
I was taking Levora birth control for a week (Had side effects) I took an active pill on April 14,2009 and never took another one since, i still have yet to get my period, but the first day of my last period was April 8,2009.

You know what, birth control was a bad idea for me because like you I stopped taking the pill after 2 weeks into the pack and had a withdrawal bleed the same week, and now I have been 4 weeks just waiting to ovulate. It's really stupid.

Birth control, it says take at the same time every day, does it have to be exactly on the dot?
It has to be around the same time.....otherwise you'll be in trouble if you know what I mean.Birth control, it says take at the same time every day, does it have to be exactly on the dot?
The closer you can get it to the same time each day is best. The pill lasts for 24 hours and to prevent a hormone change it is recommended that you take it at the same time. This way you maintain the same hormone level and are less likely to get pregnant.Birth control, it says take at the same time every day, does it have to be exactly on the dot?
It means at least within the hour.
No. Four hours either side should be perfectly OK... but not longer.
The reason it's suggested that you take it at the same time every day is that this quickly becomes such a strong habit that you're unlikely to forget one once you've been taking them for a while.

How do you get rid of widow orphan control for good in Microsoft Word. It keeps coming back.?
Likewise, how do you get rid of auto-correct options such as numbering, bullets etc. in Microsoft Word. They also keep coming back, even after you switch them off. It may be the next document, or it may be the fourth or fifth document later -- but they will still come back. Very frustrating! How do you get rid of widow orphan control for good in Microsoft Word. First go to Task Manager (cntl-alt-del) and identify the process that is running. End it. Then -
Right click on Start/ chose explore /go to Program Files.
If it is listed there on the left pane, hi-lite, right click, and chose delete.
You can use CCleaner later to clean up the registry and delete it from the installed programs list in add/remove programs.

How long did it take most of you ladies to get pregnant after you got off birth control pills?
I am on a low estrogen pill, and have been for a year, I had a problem with the 7/7/7 Ortho-Novum. Anyway, I am considering getting pregnant in the spring preferably during May or June. Does anyone know how long it would take to get pregnant after going off the Pill? How long did it take most of you ladies to get pregnant after you got off birth control pills?
Ummm, I got pregnant on the pill. I know several people who got pregnant right away after they stopped taking it. It just depends on your body. How long did it take most of you ladies to get pregnant after you got off birth control pills?
Well, everyone is different. It is possible to get pregnant as soon as you stop taking them. That's what happened with our daughter...I stopped taking them and one month later was preggo. We are trying again now and I stopped taking them 2 months ago and didn't get pregnant last month and won't know if I'm preggo or not until next week, but if not we'll just keep trying. They say it is normal for a healthy couple to take up to a year to get pregnant. Good luck!
Back in the stone age, when birth control pills were fairly new, I took them for about 2 years and it took me about 6 months to get pregnant. But that is not true for everyone. Some people take quite a while to get pregnant.
With my first I was on bc for 4 years went off took us 8 months to concieve...after I had her I went back on bc and went off in June and still nothing so 4 months with no luck so far...but it's different for everyone...
It can take a few months. Some people were able to get pregnant right away.
If you are trying for 6 months or more contact your doctor.
It is possible to get pregnancy during the first month after you're done with birth control. The hormones only stay in your system for a limited amount of time, so you might ovulate during your first cycle off the pill.
My doctor actually told me that a woman is more fertile the first 6 months off of the pill.
I am no doc so don't quote.. but I think some time between 1-3 months.. But you sould really ask a doc b/c if you get pregnant too early after stopping it can cause problems/abnormalities w/the pregnancy..
I have been off the pill for 1 and a half years, It can take time to get pregnant and not due to being to the pill can delay getting pregnant.
I was on the pill for a year (seasonale), stopped in June, did not start trying until September and now I am with child, best of luck to you =)
It took me 1 month. (everybody is different though)..but I'll tell you doctors recommend you should be off it for 2 to 3 months before you start trying. May be why I had some bleeding during the first couple months of my pregnancy...but I'm not sure. I just know I will wait longer next time. Good Luck and God Bless.
My son and daughter were both conceived within 4 weeks of going off the pill. This was 6 1/2 years appart and the 2nd after being on the pill for a long time.

Effectiveness of Birth Control after Constantly missing the time required to take it ?
I constantly miss my birth control pill time that i should be taking it.
the first few moths went well, but lately, i have been forgetting often.
i miss it usually 4 times a week by a few hours.
and ive forgotten to take it once a couple of weeks ago.
how effective is my birth control pill now?
i know its 99% effective when taken correctly, but whats the percentage when its constantly missed?Effectiveness of Birth Control after Constantly missing the time required to take it ?
Look in the paper that came in your packet of pills, it should say.
There are pills that you can get on that don't have to be taken at the same time every day, I would ask your doctor about those.

How long does it normally take to get a period after going off of birth control?
I had taken Ortho Tri-Cylen Lo for about a year and now am off of it. It's been about a month and a week since my last period. Just wondering if it takes a little bit longer to get your period again? How long does it normally take to get a period after going off of birth control?
It depends on how your cycle was before you got on to the pills.

Is it okay to take a pain killer while on birth control?
I just started taking the pill tonight, and I remember reading somewhere a warning about taking NSAIDs while on it.. would it be okay if I take an ibuprofen? Is it okay to take a pain killer while on birth control?
That warning is there because NSAIDS and birth control both have a risk of blood clots... like in your veins, not in your period blood.
You can take ibuprofen, obviously don't OD on it of course. People who have a history of blood clots and are currently on anti-coagulation therapy can take small doses of ibuprofin... so you should be just fine!Is it okay to take a pain killer while on birth control?
yesss lol.... girls who are on BC get headaches too! lolnatural cosmetics

Is it ok to just stop taking the birth control pill?
ok so i am 17 but i just don't want to take birth control anymore because i have been gaining weight. i have taken it for like the past 5 months. i quite like 3 weeks ago but now i have been having major headaches everyday sometimes more than once a day. also sometimes my stomach hurts as well. is this normal? Is it ok to just stop taking the birth control pill?
Please see the web pages for more details on Combined oral contraceptive pill.Is it ok to just stop taking the birth control pill?
It's ok to stop taking bcp. You don't have to slowly stop taking them or anything. More than likely your body is just reacting to the changing hormone levels since you've stopped taking them. However, if the headaches are really that bad you should see a doctor.
I'm not sure. I suggest you either see a doctor about it or do some research on it.

Is it okay not to have a period while on birth control?
I've been seeing commercials for birth control that allows you to have 3 periods a year. I am currently on NuvaRing, which allows me to have my normal menstruation every month. I guess my question is, is it safe to only have 3 periods a year? I heard rumors that it caused several women to have blood clots, worse than normal contraceptives. Is it okay not to have a period while on birth control?
Those are just rumors. I had a talk with my gynecologist about this the other day, and she and all her colleagues agree that periods are completely unnecessary, you don't need them, and nothing bad can happen if you only have a few a year. I definitely only get my period three-four times a year (I never take a break with the pill) and i've been doing it for 6 years, and i'm fine! In fact, it makes the contraception more safe, because everytime you take a break from the pill, it causes the protection to slowly disappear, and then you have to build it up again by taking the next packet. If you never take period breaks, it's okay to forget the now and then.

Is it true that condom can be used to control oneself and go longer?
A wife accused her husband of cheating when she noticed that the box of condoms is empty and they weren't having sex for long time . When she confronted him he said that he was using it to control himself and go longer . She believed him and said '; I don't get it but who cares '; and she felt so guilty that she thought he was cheating !!
. I find it difficult to buy this . Can this be true ?Is it true that condom can be used to control oneself and go longer?
I wouldn't pass judgment so quickly without having a little more information about the situation. But honestly, I don't buy it either.
However, using condoms can increase the time it takes to orgasm for some men. It seems to slightly decrease the sensation felt on the penis during intercourse and thus increase the time of intercourse. But that's not true for all men.
But again, I don't buy HIS story. Not just yet.
Take care.Is it true that condom can be used to control oneself and go longer?
Speaking for myself, I find it more difficult to orgasm wearing a condom.
They are confining and uncomfortable.
I see the need for them, but that doesn't change how they feel for me.
Is it the same for her husband?
I don't know..
1) it does limit feeling, that's why you can buy the ones with ';extra sensitivity';.
2) it's a lot easier to clean up if you use a condom.
Hope this helped!
lies lies lies hopefully he keeps using condoms when cheating on her and doesnt give her an STD
You do lose a bit of the sensation, yes. Its like putting a glove on...your fingers cant feel as much but ya get the general feel for things

No, Its NOT true.
I think he was lying.
doesnt seem to be !

I just started taking Metformin to control insulin resistance. Is it necessary when just eatinfruit and veggie
Also, if I take it at breakfast, lunch and dinner, does it overlap for snack times in between?I just started taking Metformin to control insulin resistance. Is it necessary when just eatinfruit and veggie
I have seen more and more doctors treating insulin resistance with medication because of the link between IR and what is referred to as syndrome X which is cholesterol, heart disease, stroke and poly-cystic ovarian syndrome.
Yes you need to take the medication as prescribed because sugar is the building block of most foods. All of those fruits contain fructose which is a simple sugar and some of the veggies contain complex sugars.
As for the timing of the medication a 3 time a day dosing covers the patient for most of the awake day. It creates a relatively steady blood level of the drug through out the day when the patient needs it the most.
Your doctor should be not only monitoring your blood sugar but also your blood insulin levels as those are what seem to cause syndrome X in patients with IR,I just started taking Metformin to control insulin resistance. Is it necessary when just eatinfruit and veggie
Have you been diagnosed with only insulin resistance or diabetes? It is not the same thing. Insulin resistance is a pre-diabetic condition and most of the times a doctor would recommend to control it with diet only. Diabetes most of the times can not be controlled with diet only and requires drugs like metformin.

Can Birth Control regulate a period if you want to prevent it from coming?
My prom is this time next month,I started my period yesterday, and i want to prevent my period next month. If i have been off birthcontrol for 6 months and start taking it again will that prevent my period from coming next month or atleast change the date? help! when should i begin to take it.Can Birth Control regulate a period if you want to prevent it from coming?
You can get a tablet on prescription from your doctor that will stop your period for that month - they are very sympathetic if you explain - ideal for when you go on holiday as well (can't remeber what the tablet is called). Can Birth Control regulate a period if you want to prevent it from coming?
Not normally Birth control is usually taken a day after your period so your period is the same time the next month. You could go on the shot..But chances are you will still have some what of a period next month it takes the shot 3-4 months to regulate not having a period!
You should keep taking your birth control every month, but skip the placebo week. That always worked for me. But it could screw up your cycle for the next month.
Yep! There is even a new pill out that only gives you a couple of periods a year.
get the depo shot no periods for 3 months and no worries about taking a pill everyday
well most of the pills you are supposed to take the 1st day you get your period and if you don't have a regulated period then it can change the date.i think you can take them also later then the 1st day and it will still postpone your period but this you better check with your doctor (it's a must, don't play with your health)
Well, why are you off birth conrol to begin with? Are you trying to get pregnant? Or did the pill have adverse affects on you. If the latter is the case, then don't start taking them, by any means.............
As for pro-longing the start of your menstrual, nature is nature and I think you are just going to have to accept it as that.
I do not believe the pill is going to change your cycle this quickly and if it did it would get back to pretty much where it was in the beginning after a few weeks. Taking the pill may cause you to menstrate earlier, stronger and longer also......................I think just hope that it doesn't happen and if it does, oh well, that's what makes us woman so interesting, right? Our lives as such ......
which BC u on, gurl?
Just start another pack instead of taking the 5 day break pills
birth control will make your period either come faster and you'll leak every once in a while but i don't know. what happened when you first started to take them?
yes if you do not stop taking the pill, you should not have a period, but before you start the pill, check what kind of pill you have,go to your pharmacist and ask if you are not sure.
yes, u can extent ur period for one month if u just continue with the pill. its not adviced to do this often tho! start now and when ur suppost to stop continue an other month.
Actually a DepoVera shot sometimes will give you light periods or none at all. However it's natural and healthy to have your period and you shouldn't try to stop it. If you want to get through it without using tampons you can use a product called Instead. But practice first. Once you get the hang of using those you won't even know you're on your period until you change it every 6-12 hours. Very handy for certain types of foreplay, etc...
yes. if you skip the placebo pills at the end of the month you will not have a period. this can continue for 3 months basically giving you 4 periods a year instead of 12.
I am assuming you take ortho-tricyclin or something like that. If you skip the placebo week (week 4) and start a new pack, you will keep your period from coming. From what I understand this will not have any bad effects but it is recommended you do not do this every month. I would always suggest checking with your doctor/GYN for more information.
If you begin taking your pills now it will definitely change the date for next month but it will not prevent it from coming.. Wait until this sunday to take it and your cycle should begin right on track for next month. Remember to always take them at the same time everyday or night if you want to keep a steady cycle.
Don't try and mess with your cycle you need your period to be regular because it balances the levels of estrogen an pro -estrogen in your body. Without the pro-estrogen that (occurs when you menstruate) you are at risk for endometrial cancer.....natural cosmetics

i usually start my new cycle on sundays , but due to a stomach virus i took it monday instead , will that cause it to be less effective ?Is it less effective if you start your new cycle with birth control pills one day later ?
The most important pills to take on time are the first and last active pills in a pack. Use condoms as backup birth control for a week, and you should be fine.

What are the basic properties of hormones and why cud it make them effective in the control of gene expression?
Hormones are essentially chemical molecules (proteins for example), which cause a change in cellular metabolism, hormones in animals are usually transported inside the body via the bloodstream hence they can reach a wide variety of tissues.
Hormones are made by certain types of cells, then are usually secreted from that cell to the bloodstream. other types of cells may have receptors for specific types of hormones. When a hormone is found in blood, and comes in contact with a cell which has the receptor for it. the receptor will bind the hormone, this will lead to a signal transduction sequence: the receptor will change the metabolism in the cell or activateTranscription factors inside the cell which may regulate Gene expression.
Insulin for example is a hormone which affects different kinds of cells, when insulin is found in the bloodstream and is later bound by different tissues of the body. It will ease the uptake of glucose to cells.
Other hormones affect other parts of cellular metabolism and gene expression.
So the main property that it diffuses in the blood and can be bound to cellular receptors which in turn give signals to change cellular activity. What are the basic properties of hormones and why cud it make them effective in the control of gene expression?
the base property of a hormone is that it affects a target, and it's genes that control hormones not the other way around.

Do you usally start you period after you stop taking birth control and how long does it take to start?
usually within a day or two i would start.Do you usally start you period after you stop taking birth control and how long does it take to start?
it just knocks you off track. when i got off, it was 2 mos. before i had mine. then i had mine for a month. then i decided... i gotta get back on! it was crazy! my period has always been out of whack when not on birth control.Do you usally start you period after you stop taking birth control and how long does it take to start?
i cant say without really knowing which birth control you are talking about?
with saying that, theres also probably no real answer for everyone, it affects us all differently. If your taking the mini pill you are more likely to bleed within 3-4 days. If your taking the full pill and have been for a few years it will take awhile for your body to adjust the hormone levels and your cycle again and that could take months!
it just knocks you off track. when i got off, it was 2 mos. before i had mine. then i had mine for a month. then i decided... i gotta get back on! it was crazy! my period has always been out of whack when not on birth control.Do you usally start you period after you stop taking birth control and how long does it take to start?
i cant say without really knowing which birth control you are talking about?

Is it possible to be/get pregnant while on birth control?
I am on birth control. (Microgynon30). My last period was about a day or two longer than usual. I go to the bathroom a lot anyway so I wouldn't notice that part of the ';early signs';. (lol) But, just this week, I walked in the kitchen one day and completely wanted to puke! My gag reflex has been reflexing alot the last 3 days. I feel sick to my stomach. This morning I tried TWICE to eat the same thing because I wanted it but I couldn't because I kept getting the gag thing. I don't feel pregnant but I feel bloated. I'm about on my 8 or 9th pill now since my last period. And that's about all I got.
Anyone got any experience or anything to tell me?Is it possible to be/get pregnant while on birth control?
Yes, it is very possible to get pregnant while on birth control. Nothing is EVER 100% effective, and that includes the pill.Is it possible to be/get pregnant while on birth control?
I had been on birth control for over 15 years. . . Never missed a day, and took it the same time every morning without fail.
Sorry about the pause. I had to chase my 18 month old daughter out of the bathroom. . .
Does that answer the question? Yes, you can.
I just recently saw a study result that birth control pills have less hormones now than they did 10 years ago. They are finding that more women are getting pregnant while on the pill now due to that reduction in the hormone levels. So don't ever assume that the pill will be 100 % effective.
unfortunately yes it is possible
yes it is possible to get pregnant on birth control.i was on birth control and got pregnant for my ypungest and i didnt miss any pills or anything.you may want to go to the store or your local health deparment and get a pregnancy test
take a test first- but yes, it is possible to get pregnant on birth control. One of my good friends had a baby while on birth control-
Take a test first, before you stress over the yes or no dilemma. It is however very possible to get pregnant on BC. If you are pregnant, you need to stop taking the pills ASAP, so I would advise you to find out as soon as you can. Good luck
Make a appointment with your obgyn asap, tell her or him what happened, they can do the pregnancy test there, if you are pregnant then get off the BC pills asap. take vitamins that your obgyn will give you.
You can, but it's rare.
More often than not, an upset stomach is due to some kind of bug - not pregnancy.
I did get pregnant on the pill--twice. The first time, I was on Ortho-tri-cyclen and everyone I knew who was on the same pill got pregnant at the same time. (Bad lot #, we think.) I had the same kind of symptoms and went to the doctor for something to relieve my nausea. My doctor decided to do a pregnancy test just in case and, lo and behold, I was pregnant.
Don't delay in taking a test.
nothing is 100% to protect u from getting pregnant i was on the pill when i found out i was pregnant i was already 3 months gone so get urself checked to be sure
It is posible, to get pregnant while on birth-control, but take a pregnancy test! just to be sure.
yes you can get pregnant while on the pill. especially if you don't take them about the same time every day. you should take a pregnancy test. I'm 12 weeks pregnant, and gagging over everything like you described. it's possible. as long as you're expecting a period within the next 5 days, an ';early detection'; test should be accurate. if not, wait a while before you test. in the mean time, relax and take care of yourself!
yes it is possible. i'm seven weeks along and i took that pill every day like i was supposed to. it is probably way to early for you to know. even the early tests don't let you know until five days before your next missed period. you probably just have a bug. but take a test to ease your mind if you want. sometimes stressing over it will make your period late.
It is possible...but not likely. I got pregnant with my daughter when I was on the pill....because I was taking antibiotics, which makes the pill not as effective.
well... when i first got pregnant until i was about 25 weeks(and still sometimes) my gag reflexes were OUT-OF-CONTROL! i mean it was absolutely horrible! and it IS possibleto get pregnant while on birth-control , my ex-roommate emily was on it and everymorning as soon as she got up she would take it and she got pregnant. then after she had her son, she got back on birth control, and she now has a daughter. it just doesn't work for some people i guess. but if i were you, i would buy a home test, or go to clinic, its free and more reliable. the tests thay use there are the some ones dr.s and hospital's use. good luck!natural cosmetics

Is it safe to drink alcohol shortly after taking birth control pill?
I have it every night at 10 pm. Well i am planning on drinking very late tonight, is it safe to have the bcp floating around in my system with alcohol going down shortly after? Would it make me feel crappy? Or should I have the pill AFTER I'm drinking? Any experience/input appreciated. I am fairly new to bcp %26amp; yes I am 21. And no, I'm not trying to concieve, just trying to get answers.. thx. :]Is it safe to drink alcohol shortly after taking birth control pill?
i take mine at 9 pm and i have taken it after drinking some with dinner/drinking after i have taken the pill.
i don't think there are really any effects of alcohol and the pill OTHER than.. the risk of throwing up.
As long as you don't throw up from the drinking i think you'll be good :)Is it safe to drink alcohol shortly after taking birth control pill?
yep thats fine. i am a pharmacy technician and i know there it is fine to drink alcohol while on birth control pill.

My Blood Pressure is 120/90 in 29th Week of pregnancy. Do you know how to control it?
I will tell you a little bit about blood pressure. The top number is the pressure against the walls of the veins and arteries when your heart is working at it's hardest and it shouldn't be above 140. The bottom number is when that same pressure is at rest and it shouldn't be above 90. I always have problems with my bp while pregnant. With my last one, I had someone tell me to try taking some garlic supplements and it worked. If you go to the vitamin section of just about any store you will find the garlic pills there. Almost all of them say odor free, but you will start to smell kind of like garlic after awhile. Just make sure you use anti-antiperspirant deodorant on all areas that get sweaty and it should keep the odor at bay. And it is garlic so it is safe or else every Italian on the planet would be messed up...lol. You need to take like 3 a day for it to be effective though. My Blood Pressure is 120/90 in 29th Week of pregnancy. Do you know how to control it?
That is excellent blood pressure- not sure what you are trying to control....
Make sure you drink plenty of water and rest as needed.
Sometimes the diastolic may come a little higher in case of tension, smoking, any other condition, restlessness, and a number of other factors.
A single BP reading should never be considered diagnostic. Your diastole is a little higher than it should be, but taking your BP reading as a whole, it is unlikely significant. My Blood Pressure is 120/90 in 29th Week of pregnancy. Do you know how to control it?
If it stays high, your doctor may need to put you on medications. Some things you can try at home are: swimming - or at least getting into water up to your neck can lower your blood pressure. Problem is you can't live there, but it wouldn't hurt to take a soak or two every day if you can. (Not HOT water, but comfortable).
2) The Brewers Diet. http://www.drbrewerpregnancydiet.com/ind鈥?/a> Dr. Brewer has had many women successfully drop or prevent high blood pressure in pregnancy. Many midwives use it on their clients with great success as well. Study it, and if it looks like a plan get started right away. You don't have much time to get it down before it is dangerous.
Don't stress, think positive thoughts, and mediate every day while imagining your blood pressure slowly dropping.
First of all no that is NOT an excellent blood pressure..the top number is fine but the bottom number is fairly high. I've been dealing with high blood pressure since 9 weeks and my doctor said if the bottom number ever gets to 90 or beyond to call in and let her know. You should contact your doctor and he/she might want you to come in. If you already saw your doctor about it and are monitoring it at home then when you notice it gets up there try laying on your left side and that will usually bring it down...if not they may need to put you on meds!
Take plenty of calcium and potassium. My doctor put me on 2000 mg. of calcium per day with 1000 mg. of magnesium.
I HAD HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE DURING MY SECOND PREGNANCY AND THE DOCTOR TOLD ME TO LAY ON MY LEFT SIDE AND IT WORKS. AND MAKE SURE YOUR NOT EATING A LOT OF SALTY FOODS

Will the effectivness of my birth control be affected if i dont take it at the same time everyday?
i have a buisy schedual. And i dont always take my birth control at the same time every day. Will i still be protected from pregnancy? Will the effectivness of my birth control be affected if i dont take it at the same time everyday?
If you take it within 2 or 3 hours it ';supposedly'; shows the same effectiveness, my doc said try to keep it within 3 hours and it has always been effective. Also my doc said to take it before right before you go to bed, it usually helps keep it within that three hour window...but honestly, occaisionally I forget mine for 7 hours (and take it in the morning) and it has still been effective but I know that is pushing it.Will the effectivness of my birth control be affected if i dont take it at the same time everyday?
You should take it roughly within 45 minutes of the time you usually take it. To be on the safe side, take it slightly earlier (not later) than the day before if you are usually forgetful. I havent had any problems, but I think they advise the same time everyday, so there is no chance of an egg being released. Try setting an alarm on your cell phone and keeping your pills close at hand, in your purse.
You're supposed to take it around the same time every day - I take mine when I brush my teeth at night so I remember. It's easiest when you associate it with an event - brushing your teeth, eating breakfast, etc. I think as long as you're within a few hours, you should be fine - but as always - ask your doc if you're not sure.

Can I take birth control on the week im supposed to have my period? Is it bad if i do?
I'm going to be going on vacation and it lands on the week im supposed to have my period, and i really dont want to be on it! Is it safe to take birth control on the week that im supposed to be on my period just that one time? Can I take birth control on the week im supposed to have my period? Is it bad if i do?
It may not be recommended with the brand of pill you are taking but a lot of women take birth control for 3 straight months with out taking the placebo pills to keep from having their periods. I would suggest just running it by your doctor to be sure it's safe with the type of pill you are taking.
Good luck and have fun!Can I take birth control on the week im supposed to have my period? Is it bad if i do?
As far as I know it's safe, I have done it before, just dont do it every month. You might spot a little bit still so bring some lightdays just in case.
I have done it before for my anniversary vacation I think it should be o.k with the pills I took the nuva ring and exacly 20 days after my trip I was in the hospital I was bleeding excessively and the clots were about 6 inches wide the pain was absolutely horrible.. it was a really messy situation..I would talk to your doctor because I only know of my situation with the nuva ring I wouldnt suggest you use that but thats my experiance
go right ahead. i took birth control for yrs. it wont harm u but, be careful about missing a dose on ur vaction.

Why is that when my ford escape hybrid 2007 bumps in a pothole it rocks and risk loosing control on steering?
this is usually at relatively low speeds so i fear to drive faster than 60 km/h fearing i might lose control of the steering and crash. Why is that when my ford escape hybrid 2007 bumps in a pothole it rocks and risk loosing control on steering?
Its to new to have wore out suspension parts. Its most likely a loose steering rack. Why is that when my ford escape hybrid 2007 bumps in a pothole it rocks and risk loosing control on steering?
Being that it is two years old, the shocks might be going. This seems somewhat unlikely as two years generally isn't long enough to ';kill'; shocks (Or struts, I don't know the car) but you always get occasional ';duds'; in any mass production. This would also make sense because if they where failing due to normal usage both sides would wear down uniformly and rather than swerving it would simply be bumpy, where as if one failed swerving might occur. Also your wheel alignment could be ever so slightly off, little enough that when normally driving it doesn't cause a noticeable problem, but under more extreme conditions (Potholes, for example) it causes problems. As for the guy who said ';Because it's a Ford'; He can go jump off a cliff. I'm a Ford guy through and through, so while I disagree I can understand his devotion to Chevy. However I agree with him in the fact that I also do not like Hybrids, if you are trying to be enviornentally friendly or save money on fuel, I suggest ethanol rather than hybrids, as ethanol is cheaper most of the time and when the corn grows to make more it absorbs the released carbon... I won't go into a rant about that now, though.
Check your ball joints or your tie rod ends. You could also check your wheel bearings. To check the tie rod ends just jack up your car then grab the tire by the side and try to move the tire to see how much play you have.To check the ball joints jack up the front then put your right hand at the bottom of the tire while your left hand is at the top.now basically rock the tire back and forth.
if you have some play your ball joint/s could be going bad.
Oh make sure you use jack stands along with the jack.
because its a ford and a hybrid.you should have got a chevrolet with a 350 and you would be smiling when you hit a pot hole because you went right through it and did not feel a thing when everyone else is slowing down and avoiding it.
Maybe be time to replace the shocks and check the steering components, tie rod ends, ball joints, ect..

I was taking a different birth control pill and the doctor changed it to yaz.?
When I was reading the directions about yaz, it said you have to be very carefull when you change over to these pills. The first 8 days you could get pregnant. My question is do I have to be very careful just for that first month I change over or do I have to be very careful every month. The directions are not very clear. If someone knows, please clue me in.I was taking a different birth control pill and the doctor changed it to yaz.?
you only need to be careful the FIRST month. after that you will be protected taking yaz the same time every day.
good luck!I was taking a different birth control pill and the doctor changed it to yaz.?
yeah i agree, the first month you should definitely use protection. After the month it finally gets in your system. I work at a OB-GYN office as a Medical Assistant we use these contraceptives

How can I tell if it's implantation bleeding or just a side effect of birth control pills?
I recently started on birth control pills (progestin only, if that makes a difference). It was about a month ago that I started. My periods are normally very regular, and my last one was. It started two weeks ago yesterday (September 24) and ended on that Friday night(Sept 28). But then yesterday, I noticed I was bleeding. It started out a brownish color but is now more red, but it's not very heavy. Does this sound like a side effect of the pill or could it be implantation bleeding? How can I tell if it's implantation bleeding or just a side effect of birth control pills?
It's probably the pill, but just to be sure, call your doctor. While combo pills prevent ovulation, progesterone-only (mini-pills) do not...they just make the whole reproductive cycle unpleasant for a pregnancy to occur (thin the lining, etc). So if you took your pills EXACTLY as you were supposed to and were NEVER late (not even by an hour -- timing on the mini is VERY important) then the chance of pregnancy would be less than 2%. But again, check with your doc.

Vehicle Stability Control - Should I get a Camry with it?
I'm in the process of leasing a camry (they're running a great deal!) and I have the option of leasing an LE with the vehicle stability and traction control. Choosing that option would add $20 to $25 more a month to my lease payment. I'm not very familiar with the option and would like some opinions. I live in upstate NY, so we do deal with snow for months at a time. Thanks!Vehicle Stability Control - Should I get a Camry with it?
it's a computer controlled device that senses when the tires are slipping and brakes the slipping one(s).
it's good to have in the rain %26amp; snow.
also can help if you get a bit out of control in a panic situation or spirited driving.
I'm not a fan of leasing anything but would recommend spending a bit more for this option.
you'll appreciate it in the cold and wet..

Yes, I would get it by far. More than anything, it is a safety issue. ESC is made to prevent skidding during a panic and also improves your vehicles performance.
It works by if your car detects a loss of control, ESC will apply by giving single brakes the main control to help maintain control.
This video tells you everything:

Good Luck
I'd also recommend you go used and BUY instead of lease. You can get the car for cheaper and have more options.

i was put on the depo shot and it made me bleed for over a month so i went back and my doctor put me on the patch while i was still on the depo so now meaty stuff is coming out because of that and i was wondering could i sue the doctor for itCan u sue the doctor if they give u a overdose of birth control and it has caused the fallopian tube to tear?
Well if there was any medical malpractice than yes you can sue. I would find like a medical malpractice lawyer in your area that offers a free consultation. That way you will be able to determine if you have a case without it costing you anything but time. If so then determine if he/she was a good lawyer, someone who you feel comfortable with. If so then go ahead, just follow your gut feeling and know that you are always in charge, because they are working for you. Good luck and I hope that you are okay after all of this. Can u sue the doctor if they give u a overdose of birth control and it has caused the fallopian tube to tear?

When is it safe to change the time i take my birth control pills?
I have just taken the first round of pills and now im taking the 'inactive' ones. I have been taking them at night but this is inconvenient for me. Can I start taking them earlier in the day once I start a new pack? thanks! When is it safe to change the time i take my birth control pills?
the morning after Sex. ok best way possibleWhen is it safe to change the time i take my birth control pills?
Yes, I asked my doctor about this exact thing and she said that it wouldn't really decrease the effectiveness that much. You'll only be changing the time on that first day; after that, your body will automatically adjust. It is best to change times during the inactive week, because the inactive pills don't contain any hormones and you'll be able to start the next month at your new time. You should be fine--I was :)

Have you ever been in a dream, known it was a dream, and could control what you did?
I have had a couple, one in particular, I remember jumping out of a window to wake myself up.Have you ever been in a dream, known it was a dream, and could control what you did?
yea i was trying to wake up, so someone killed me...s=kinda scary, but i imaginded to happen like that. another one is i was walking down a sidewalk in my sllep, and when i tripped my legs moved like i was in that dream or day.Have you ever been in a dream, known it was a dream, and could control what you did?
no, not in control.. however i have been dreaming and known i was dreaming, thats usualy when i wake up. being in real control of your dream means you CONTROLL it you make anything you want to happen. its called ';lucid dreaming'; google it!
yes. when i didnt want to carry on with the dream, i force myself to open my eyes and wake up. ending the dream.
Lucid Dreams rock. I've had them were I kept waking up in my dream. But I was still asleep, So I had to keep convincing my mind I was dreaming. It was great I would fly everywhere. Once I realized I was still dreaming, And when someone would piss me off in my dream (ex-wife). All I would have to do is reach out my hand and crush their face like a sponge and they would change to someone else or disappear. The best night of sleep I ever had. I hope heaven is like that. Flying around and face crushing.
I have been there and known it was a dream and tried to wake myself up, but I had no luck, maybe because I didn't think as fast and bravely as you did!! Jumped out a Window? Man Oh Man!!! You are gutsy. I admire that, especially in a man. @8-) Sweet Dreams
I was having a nightmare the other night and in the dream I remember thinking to myself '; man this is a really BAD dream.....wait...this is a dream?'; And then right when I was going to try to do something cool like fly I woke up. I was pissed.
It's called ';lucid dreaming.'; You get better at it the more you do it.
I read some books about it. There was a tribe of people that practiced this as part of their culture. It seemed to solve a lot of their social problems, because they learned to master their fears in dreams.
Good luck.
yes it compeletly normal
